Beautiful & Emotional Day of Reflection as Sunrise Humane Society Celebrates One Year of Operation4/24/2022 On Friday, April 22, 2022, Sunrise Humane Society hosted an event at our facility at 100 Savannah Rd. in Fort Pierce, Florida to pause, reflect on, and celebrate its first year of operation.  The large oak tree on the west side of the grounds was tenderly wrapped with fabric, streamers, and balloons of blue, yellow, white, and green. The morning dawned warm and bright, without any threat of the thunderstorms forecasters had predicted.

 Sunrise Humane Society of Fort Pierce, FL, is celebrating its first anniversary on Earth Day, Friday, April 22 from 9:30-10:30am. Pastor Mallow of the Church of the Nazarene will preside in a Blessing of the Animals. Bring your wishes and prayers for the animals. Donations of non clumping cat litter and funds are much appreciated. Drinks and snacks will be available. The No-Flea Market will be open following the blessing for thrift-store shoppers.
